Dual Gig – Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dual Gig platform, including our website at www.dualgig.com and any associated services, features, or applications operated by Tri Engage Marketing, a company registered in Malaysia. By using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use Dual Gig. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who manages your account. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the platform. By using Dual Gig, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
Dual Gig is an online freelance marketplace that allows individuals and businesses (“Buyers”) to connect with service providers (“Sellers”) offering various freelance services. All transactions are processed through Dual Gig, and parties agree to the terms of engagement during the order process.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when necessary. You must not use Dual Gig for any unlawful purpose or violate any applicable Malaysian laws or regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
All payments are made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are processed via secure payment gateways integrated with Dual Gig. Buyers are required to pay upfront for services unless otherwise stated. Dual Gig may deduct a platform commission from payments to Sellers. Further tax obligations under the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) remain the sole responsibility of users.
Unless otherwise agreed, Sellers retain ownership of their work until full payment is made. Upon payment, all intellectual property rights are transferred to the Buyer, unless stated otherwise in the service description. Dual Gig may use publicly available work samples for promotional purposes.
Users shall not engage in harassment, hate speech, fraud, or intellectual property infringement. Dual Gig reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. All communication and transactions must take place through the Dual Gig platform. Any off-platform deals are at your own risk and may result in account suspension.
In the event of a dispute between a Buyer and Seller, users should first attempt to resolve the matter through the platform’s Resolution Center. If unresolved, Dual Gig reserves the right to mediate the dispute and make a final determination based on platform data and communication history.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or harms the platform’s integrity. Users may request account deletion by contacting customer support. We may retain data for regulatory compliance and fraud prevention as allowed by Malaysian law.
Dual Gig provides the platform on an “as-is” basis. We make no guarantees regarding the quality, accuracy, or legality of services offered. To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in the law or platform features. Updated Terms will be published on our website and take effect upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
